Why would I need to apply for a Non-Residence Certificate ?

Non Residency Certificate. ( Certificado de Non Residencia ) This certificate may be requested by the bank, notary, schools, civil registry etc.  Any person who needs / wishes to obtain the "Certificado de Non Residencia" (Certificate of Non Residence), an application has to be made in a similar way to that of the application for other official Cards/Certificates (eg N. I. E., Residence card (only for non Europeans) or Certificado de Registro).   The requirements are the same as those required for application of the N. I. E. with the exception of the Form, which is a different model, namely the Ex.13.   Application can be made via the Ministry of Interior in Spain, or via the Spanish Embassy or Consulates, abroad. To obtain the Certificate, the Applicant must go in person himself/herself.
